Candle in the wind

Photo: As the sun dives beyond the horizon
The moon escapes from her prison
Dazzling rays of daylight last in the sky
The cold night falls with a silent sigh
Night walkers says ciao
They are in control now
There was once light, now the night reigns with darkness
And somehow sorrow has found my point of weakness
Cascade of tears fall upon my darkened eyes
Dripping to the cold, uncaring tombstones
Sleeping beauty, sleeping but just bones
Sleeping beneath these cold stones
Her candle burned off two months ago
The dark wind blew away her shadow
Drowned in sadness, drowned in painful memories
Memories of what used to be my favorite love stories
I always thought she will be with me forever
I thought we will see our old days together
But for God knows why,
Now it is just me and loneliness in this graveyardAs the sun dives beyond the horizon
The moon escapes from her prison
Dazzling rays of daylight last in the sky
The cold night falls with a silent sigh
Night walkers says ciao
They are in control now
There was once light, now the night reigns with darkness
And somehow sorrow has found my point of weakness
Cascade of tears fall upon my darkened eyes

Dripping to the cold, uncaring tombstones
Sleeping beauty, sleeping but just bones
Sleeping beneath these cold stones

The dark wind blew away her shadow
Drowned in sadness, drowned in painful memories
Memories of what used to be my favorite love stories

I thought we will see our old days together
But for God knows why,
Now it is just me and loneliness in this graveyard
