Thrown in
jail, locked behind bars
My soul ails,
my skin full of fresh scars
In solitary
I’m detained, caged in the dark
On my neck I’m
chained, my hands on my back
I scream in
pain, cold tears on my eyes
They stream
in vain, no one hears my cries
My joints
ache, from the beating I get
Whipping I take,
extreme torture not yet
On my face
they spit, my toes they crash
My head
they hit, my ribs they smash
On the
floor I bleed, out of pain I plea,
To death I concede, for my soul to be free
In a second
my life flashes, pictures of my past
To the
grave everyone rashes, flag flying half
mast
Freedom fighter
no more, fought for the just
Ashes to
ashes, dust to dust
My warrior
soul rest in peace
